Aumsville is a city in Marion County, Oregon, United States. It is situated on the site of the pioneer farm of Henry L. Turner, who named the settlement for his son-in-law, Amos M. Davis, more familiarly known as "Aumus", who had died on December 23, 1863. The population was 3,003 at the 2000 census. Aumsville is home of the annual "Aumsville Corn Festival" held each August. The 2007 estimate is 3,300 residents.[PSU:Population Research Center]
